“My goals didn’t change when they put the crown on my head,” Courtney Basara said. “They just got closer. It will be an honor to represent Minnesota at the Miss USA pageant, and I plan to use the privilege of this platform to encourage and inspire others.”
Courtney Basara attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth where she earned a major in industrial Engineering. Currently, she’s working as a professional model and has walked the runway in Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas and Minneapolis. In her free time, she enjoys being active and is also training her rescued dog to become a certified therapy dog.
